A monthly seminar series, organized by Small Angle X-ray Scattering Special Interest Group (SAXS-SIG) at Advanced Photon Source, is focused on discussing, celebrating, and learning from new frontiers of science, research, and development based on small-angle scattering (SAS). Date: April 11, 2025 Time: Fri, 2:00 PM (CDT) Speaker:  Xiaobing Zuo, Byeongdu Lee, and Jan Ilavsky Institution: Advanced Photon Source, Argonne National Laboratory Title: Upgraded 12ID SAXS and USAXS after APS-U link Abstract:  APS-U upgraded 12ID SAXS & USAXS instruments are all currently operational and available to general user community through standard GU program. While the 12IDB SAXS instrument has seen relatively limited modifications and provides capabilities similar to before APS-U upgrade, the new 12IDE station hosts upgraded USAXS/SAXS/WAXS instrument moved from 9ID as well as new 10m long SAXS/WAXS instrument.
